The talk of Hargeisa - the capital of the secessionist regional government of the so called Somaliland for the last three weeks has been; “Mehiga met Awdal State spokesman Gar- yaqaan Mr. Rashid Aw Nur Hersi in Ottawa”. The emerging of the pictures of Mahiga and Rashid that were posted on the websites caused uproar in Hargeisa.

The news startled Siiraanyo administration gangs and the whole flock flew up into thin air. The news item was so overwhelming it caused many of the top Siiraanyo gangs into changing their eating habits and there are reports of wide spread diarrhea and stomach goose bumps among the gangs.

Seeing Mahiga with Lawyer Rashid wearing the awdal State t-shirt screwed up Siiraanyo’s head. As reported it had an impact on his mood and created agitation and behavioural disturbances to the foreman which in turn induced anger and boiled his blood. He couldn’t restrain and at last as we know took to the waves and spoke his heart bashing everybody including Awdal State and attacked Rayaale’s administration officers violently.

Boy-o-boy he really beat the bush and ran all-ways like a Siiraanyo in his speech. He reminded us all, rarely used words by the public and which are never used by a politician let alone a president. He literally drained his saliva into disgrace – What a way for a president to behave!

“Ufuuuuuuf” he said, “Ina cali Waraabow sankay kaa heystaan dadku...” he added. When those words and the long sentence that followed in which he bashed with Faisal hit my ears, I was like what the hell is wrong with the old man. As you might agree, he has every right to defend his dictatorship but when one combines his age, the office and his experience, one realizes that he did not choose the right words. As a matter of fact any person in the right mind would not have dared to say such words in front of a national Tv. But Siiraanyo did and that went into the books.

“Musuqmaasuqaad gasheen, boobkaad sameyseen, dhacaad sameyseen waan idinka saamaxney...” Siiraanyo said while bashing the UDUBS. This was a real disgrace. I really felt for the Somalilanders he is supposed to lead. Every one of those words created a back lash in my mind. The word “waan idinka saamaxney” reminded me when he used to insult president Rayaale. That was Siiraanyo’s favourite word towards Rayaale. Remember “faqash taan saamaxney ayaa wadanka ka taliya...” Cid walba ma Siiraanyaa saamaxay!!!!

“Musuqmaasuqaad gasheen, dhacaad samayseen...” He said. Now, remember the innocent gadabuursiman who was put in jail for five years allegedly mismanaging school funds. Waa waxaan la yaabay ee maskaxdeyda gali weydey. Reerkiisa wuu saamaxayaa cidaan reerkiisa aheyna wuu xidhayaa een waliba wax dambi ah galin. Waa cajiib!!

Waa dambi inaad adiga oo xil sida maxkamada taagi weydo qofkaad ku ogtahay dhac uu dadka ka galay. Waa dambi labaad inaad ku qudbadayso inaad hadana dambigii ka saamaxdey ood waliba ku faanto. Markaad Siiraanyo ku qiyaasto Ina Siyaad Barre, Xaaji buu noqon Ina Siyaad barre!!!

Siiraanyo really is sitting on a mud. Here I would have proposed an inquiry but I will not. Simply because the regional government of Somalilnd is not a government of the people for the people by the people but a government of a dictator whose principles are “Ninlaa u doobshey...”

Since that ill-timed speech, there are reports that Siiraanyo was put in a 24 hours watch after he was seen walking around his desk murmuring with words that made no sense. Words like “Sheekh Shariif, Somali-weyn, Awdal State, SSC, Mahiga, Rashiid...” The main concern as reported is that he takes the waves again and announces to the public that the regional government of Hargeisa is dissolved and that the way is now Somali-weyn... Back to the future...

As is known, the Somaliland gangs have begun a campaign to put down the success of Awdal State. It should be known that Awdal State accomplished tripple fold in three months than what SNM gangs could not accomplish in twenty years.

Recently the separatists began a gradual process of destroying the public image of Awdal State. They began spreading lies of Mahiga not meeting Awdal State in Ottawa. The SNM regional government of Somaliland seem to be collecting their tools of trade to put Mehiga in their pocket. Let me remind the readers the old Somali adage that embodies the common observation;

“Baaniyaal ceydhoobay jeebkiisuu baadhbaadhaa...”

The separatists looked back their inventory to figure out the best trick that used to work best for them in the past when dealing with foreigners. They found one. I don't want to write in details about that but the following cleverly written paragraph explains in full.

“Mahiga has a secretary who is sympathetic to the cause of Somaliland, and who may in fact be a Trojan horse for furthering such a cause. It is a well-known fact among Somali Unionists that the female secretary filters all the official correspondence of Mahiga, and she is suspected of diverting any documents addressed to her African boss from unionist movements such as the Federal States of Awdal, Sool-Sanaag-Ayn (SSC) and Makhir to the dustbin: these are Somali Federal states in Northwest and North Central Somalia that are opposed to the Somaliland secession but claimed by the secessionists by virtue of having old links with the British colonialists”.Ali H Abdulla

Wow!!! That above paragraph speaks volumes.

Looks like the separatists are getting desperate and frustrated day after day. It is a sure thing that the separatists can not manipulate the public ideas and will end up in a doom. It will not be long when the civilized democratic people of the world pull the trigger and the separatists' ideas thrown out of the window. Believe me, if the meeting between Mahiga and Lawyer Rashiid screwed up Siiraanyo's head, sorry to say he will have to be ready for more headaches as Awdal State is preparing to unfold secrets.

Siiraanyo bashed Faisal and UDUB, that should be enough for them to unfold the secrets of him. Now the public is waiting for Faisal and the Udubs to dig out Siiraanyo's dirty laundry...
